50 Years of Television

In 2002, it was 50 years since the company's first television set - aptly named 'Television' - was first launched. To celebrate this special occasion, an exhibition was held in the foyer of The Farm, Bang & Olufsen's Struer headquarters - November 2002.

This first batch of photographs shows some of Bang & Olufsen's early television sets (including the 'Wheelbarrow' TV set of 1952)

These three photographs bring Bang & Olufsen's involvement with television sets up-to-date with Beovision 5 - Bang & Olufsen's first plasma TV.

'Split Second' is an interactive work-of-art display where exhibition visitors are captured on a half-circle of Beovision Avant screens.
